The Idea for NÜK (Nook) came when I was living in a 6' x 10' room with a window seat (my nook) in Brooklyn. That was were I sat for hours at times, day dreaming, thinking about the past and growing up in Iran and my family. It was my sanctuary. Nostalgia became my favorite feeling and I became obsessed with time and passing of it.
Now I strive to create pieces that create a feeling of nostalgia. I strive to create pieces that are timeless and are built to withstand the test of time.
